I am an experienced professional counselor living in Blue Springs, MO, with a wealth of life experiences. Prior to my ten years as a high school counselor, (my first year as an Intern), I spent over 25 years as a mid-level manager for AT&T: I am also a Vietnam veteran. I've been married for over 49 years and have two grown sons, daughter-in-laws, and 4 grandchildren.
These varied life experiences, coupled with my professional training in counseling services taught me to listen, empathize, and interact with you in a non-judgmental Christian environment. This provides you a safe environment as you search for insights and solutions to your emotional concerns.

All professional counselors undergo advanced, specialized training, which includes working under the supervision of a licensed professional counselor for approximately two years before being licensed to practice on their own. These safeguards exist to protect clients while the counselor develops his or her expertise. In addition to having earned my Masters in Counseling from the University of Central Missouri. In my previous life, I earned my undergraduate degree in Business and an MBA from Rockhurst College, now affectionately known as Rockhurst University.
I offer couples, adult and child counseling from a Cognitive Behavioral theoretical base focused on finding solutions that work for the client. My fees are a sliding scale based on the client’s ability to pay as determined by their previous years’ tax return. I am not affiliated with any insurance programs.
